I loved your concept of fire building, it was a well-told story. I have to ask and I hope it’s not too personal are you and Paul still married?

    Hi Tracy!
Thank you so much for your kind comments. I am Lisa’s very proud hubby. One of our dear friends, Kimberly Anderson, told Lisa that telling your story in your voice and listening to it is healthy therapy to recover from trauma, so this is the reason Lisa put this together. I’m so proud of her. I never imagined she would be here with me. I am incredibly blessed. Our marriage has never been better. Life is incredible.
FYI, we told our story on Mormon Stories 650-652 if you are interested.
Lisa says thank you for your kindness and validation. Hugs! (I responded for her as I have a disqus account. )

Great essay! Thank you. I think we have generations of absent Fathers who were busy building fires instead of spending time with their children.

Sure proud to know you, Lisa. Glad I got to hear your beautiful words in that beautiful voice of yours. Love, your forever fan.

Wow! That was a super fun essay!!! Loved the fire, log, heat metaphors and how far you were able to take them. You were able to paint a picture of the complex struggles of your life and all the nuances fellow Mormons understand. Thanks for sharing your artistic writing and reading ❤️❤️❤️
